Belgium will enroll in a novel method to learn and practice obstetrical ultrasound. The International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) will conduct a basic course covering both theoretical content and scanning practice thanks to the innovative Volutracer OPUS simulators.
This two-day remote experience will be carried out on June 12th by international experts on theoretical lectures such as obtaining and interpreting fetal cardiac images.
At home simulation practices are the new teaching standard in several countries. France has already adopted this mechanism, which not only allows the student to practice without restrictions, but also enables the professor to review each practice on the cloud with accurate performance metrics.
